Our History

Adelaide Hills Party Hire started life in a back shed in Macclesfield in the early 1990s. In 2000, it was purchased by a Mylor family and moved to their home address.

During their time, it outgrew being a home-based business and moved to a rented space in Verdun.

Paul started working with the company in September 2006 – to help out for a few days a week. By the 19th January 2007, he and Kate officially became the new owners !

With a combined background in hospitality and administration, Paul and Kate have since grown the business to employ numerous staff year-round and support our family.

Now here we are, after surviving Covid, and outgrowing three more warehouses. We are now based in Echunga, and each year hire out over 27000sqm of marquee and pavilion, over 2000 tables, 13,000 chairs, and too many crockery, cutlery and glassware items to count!

So, after 17 years, we know our stuff. If you have any events coming up,  please give us a call!
